“Just think of me as your Behavioral Health Superhero. Superheroes see what's beneath the surface... what's behind your mask... the motivation behind your behavior. But that's not enough. Let's join forces so that you can discover these realities for yourself. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to discover your superpowers and learn to use them for your good. Here is where I come in. Together, we will practice the powers of forgiveness and embrace change. This will not come easy in today's society, but we will build a team around you!”

Featured Presentation Themes

Regrettably, for the American Black community, the definition of manhood has become extremely venomous. Poisoned by images of men who exhibit ignorance, violence, disrespect for Black women, absence as a father and from the home, and running through women like fresh white tee-shirts. As a result, the strength of our community has not only weakened from a socio-economic standpoint, but also from an academic and masculine standpoint. My aim is to amputate the antiquated and broken definition of manhood, cauterize the wound and install a new and improved definition of a strong Black Man, one to be revered and emulated.

  • Redefining Manhood

Our success with managing conflict equates to our success in life. “Life is a gigantic adversity pool.” Therefore, there is no escaping conflict or hard times in any facet of life including social interactions, family and colleagues, or business associates. People attempt to deal with conflict by simply avoiding it. However, avoidance of conflict only works to prolong the inevitable confrontation that is inescapable, should one wish to move from point A to point B in life! I teach people how to gracefully face conflict from a place of emotional intelligence and understand that there are always multiple vanishing points in every scenario.

  • Conflict Resolution

Having been in leadership for over 19 years of my career and obtained my PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology, I have garnered a wealth of knowledge and experience with respect to what it takes to motivate and build individuals, teams and organizations. I always say, “Good leaders lead others, and Great leaders build others”. I train leaders to understand and embody the tenets of situational leadership, which is necessary to impact individuals, groups and organization at every stage of career development. Moreover, I am most excited about developing people of influence into transformational leaders, which will not only assist them with gaining buy-in, dedication and loyalty from their team, but it will ultimately teach them how to duplicate themselves to ultimately relieve themselves of the pressures, stress and energy often affiliated with management and leadership. Transformational leadership promotes humility, courage, empathy and effective communication, which is the life blood of leadership. Thus, the combination of transformational and situational leadership, has spawned the “Transform-Situational” approach to leadership training!

  • Transform-Situational Leadership

How many people can actually explain the purpose, the reason, or the process of forgiveness? People often carry around viral energy which is slowly depleting their life force. In fact, for many people who have suffered trauma at the hands of another person, due to lack of forgiveness, they continue to self-inflict new wounds and impede on healing from old ones, effectually maintaining an endless cycle of self-punishment for an act that someone else committed. So, being the behavioral health superhero that I am, it is my duty and honor to share these life jewels on trauma recovery with all who will listen.
